Compact Serial Communication Server
Overview
The CS110 provides an efficient solution
to local network users communication tasks. Its IPX protocol offers the
benefits of convenient modem sharing and also, PPP remote access function
allows remote nodes to access home-based file server or UNIX host easily.

dial-into a TCP/IP or a IPX/SPX network

Supports transparent modem sharing. Network
users can login to the Internet, on-line services or BBS.

Supports 10Base-2 (BNC) and 10Base-T (UTP)
auto-sensing for network connections.

Supports Dial-back / Password security
for remote access.

The redirect COM driver work with all
windows 3.1 communication programs including a Telix, Netscape, Terminal,
Trumpet, WinFax, Procomm, Xtalk Mk4, Spry, Smartcom, Qmodem pro, SuperFax,
WinFax Lite, WinComm Lite, Quick Link II, WinSpan Lite etc.
Modem Sharing
- With CS110 modem sharing, users can share modem for more economical
data transmission under DOS and Windows, also you can have the convenience
of modem capabilities, for example, login BBS , Internet or CompuServe
and etc. without having to keep a modem on your desk.
Remote Access
- Through PPP, The CS110 allows remote qualified users to access
home-based file server or UNIX host.
Remote Control
- With CO-session (remote control software) CS110 supports remote
control function. Remote site users can control workstation which on home-base
network
